Educational Development Centre

Throughout the Maldives Educational development centre is attributed as the professional hub of ministry of education. Then, educational project office (EPO) which was established in the Maldives on 6th October 1976 was renamed as educational development centre (EDC) on 1st January 1979 due to the growth and expansion of its services. Almost all the education related development progrmmes in the country were then conducted by EDC.

Aminiya School

Aminiya School founded in 1944, is an educational landmark providing excellence in girls’ education. Today education in its holistic form is the pivot around which the functioning of the school revolves.

North Ari Atoll Hospital

This atoll hospital runs as a health centre since 1st March 1984 and later on 16th September 2006 inaugurates as AA. Atoll Hospital by Maldivian government. This health facility provides curative and preventive health care services to the people of the Maldives especially north Aril Atoll islands. This health facility is an individual body runs under the ministry of health and family. This health facility supervises and monitors seven health centres in this atoll where all these health facilities also provide curative and preventive health care services to the particular island.
